Maynard Training Company was established in January 1999 by David Maynard. After 29 years in the classroom teaching Mathematics and Economics, middle management and senior management, an opportunity to take early retirement and pursue other options presented itself. David Maynard has now moved into teacher training and working with Head Teachers and School Governors in a Consultancy and/or Advisory role. He is constantly working to raise the teaching and learning standards of both pupils and teachers.

This move has allowed development into other areas of education including Teacher Training. Initially work was with PGCEs and latterly it has been to provide training
and assessment against the QTS standards for both GTPs and OTTs.

David’s qualifications are a BSc (Economics), a PGCE and an MA (in Education)

His areas of experience within teaching are varied and he has a proven track record in management with hands-on teaching experience in both a demonstrative and advisory role.
